MADE BY HAND AT THE PLACE OF ORIGIN.

SELECTED BY HAND

The cashmere goats shed their fur in the spring. The outer guard hairs fall out. The undercoat - the wool used to make cashmere - is then combed out by hand by the breeders. Approx. 300 grammes of finest hair are obtained from one goat in this manner. After they have been carefully sorted the cashmere hairs are taken to the combing room where they are very gently combed by hand at least ten times. The expertise about the right way of combing cashmere hairs has always been passed down from generation to generation, from breeder to breeder. The highest quality cashmere wool in the world thus originates directly in Mongolia, its very source.
